sorry about the double picture. I tried something new, putting more than one picture, and didn't do so well. BUT this is the eifle tower. It is 1000 ft tall. HUGE. Each of the 4 legs it stands on alone is huge. It is sorrounded by beautiful park. Flowers were in bloom. Neither jim nor I knew that it was built to honor the French Jews killed in WWII.

The above picture is me outside the Musse D"Orsay where we went. We were going to go to the Louve but even knowing ahead it was big did not prepare us for HOW BIG it really is. We were afraid it would take all our free time to get in and find a section to see. D'Orsay had a great collection of impressionist paintings that we went to see. Even in this "small " museum we saw 2 out of 5 floors. We both enjoyed.
